Mars created a series of works for Carroll Shelby Racing called “The Art of Speed”. This rough version is one of the best ! Layered on a “tabletop board” (used as studio palettes, cutting boards, inkpen test spots, etc), this GT350 Mustang sits in a creative chaos from Mars studio in Chicago sometime in the early 2000s. The last photo shows the verso of the painting with a vintage jewelry store graphic.
