Rare Mars Gallery Chicago artwork, Vintage 1991. The Beatnik drummer was a popular 1980s to early 1990s Mars piece and the birthday girl has been a favorite too. Peter occasionally silk-screens art on both sides of the substrate whether by accident or intentionally when he’s clearing screens of paint. Sometimes both art pieces turn out so cool that we call it “double-sided or 2-sided art”. Collectors have framed these in double plexiglass with surrounding frame so the art can be flipped and seen from both sides.
